Meet the Houston Team Behind Alden Insulation Houston
When you call Alden Insulation Houston, you’re not getting a rotating cast of subcontractors. You’re getting the same crew that’s been crawling through Houston attics for years, dealing with July heat that hits 140 degrees up there and humidity that turns old fiberglass into a soggy mess. Bryce Holloway runs the Houston location, and he hires people who understand that insulation work is precise, physical, and occasionally miserable. The folks below show up in uniform, pass a background check before their first day, and operate under The Garrison Standard on every single job.
Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been installing insulation in Houston for eleven years, and he’s the guy who trains everyone else on the crew. He holds Owens Corning and Johns Manville installer certifications, which means he’s been tested on proper blown-in depth, density, and ventilation clearance by the manufacturers themselves. Marcus specializes in older homes in The Heights and Montrose where attic access is tight and the existing insulation is often original to a house built in 1948. Outside work, he rebuilds small-block Chevrolet engines in his garage in Spring Branch. He says insulation and engines have the same rule: if you rush the prep, you’ll regret it for years.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana handles most of the attic insulation removal jobs, which is the dirtiest work we do. She was a commercial insulation installer for six years before joining us, and she’s certified in Rockwool and CertainTeed residential systems. Dana is the person you’ll see running the HEPA-filtered vacuum line during a removal, making sure old dusty insulation comes out without spreading through your living room. She grew up in Pasadena, TX and knows exactly how coastal humidity breaks down R-value over time. She keeps a garden that produces more jalapeños than anyone can reasonably eat.
Luis G., Service Coordinator
Luis is the voice you’ll hear when you call (806) 581-1010, and he’s been answering phones for Alden since the Houston location opened. He’s the person making sure your written price gets to you before any work starts and that your 365-Day Done Right Promise is documented in writing. Luis spent eight years in residential construction scheduling before moving into coordination, so he understands what a realistic timeline looks like for a blown-in insulation job in a 2,400 square foot Katy home. He’s a Houston native, third generation, and he can tell you which side of I-10 floods first in a hard rain even though it never comes up on a work call.
Jordan P., Apprentice
Jordan joined the crew two years ago after working residential framing in Conroe, and he’s currently training under Marcus for his Knauf and GreenFiber certifications. He handles a lot of the air sealing prep work, cutting foam board and sealing top plates before blown-in insulation goes down. Jordan is the one who double-checks depth markers as the hopper runs, making sure you’re getting the R-value written on your quote. He’s an avid bass fisherman and has strong opinions about Lake Conroe versus Lake Livingston that he’ll share if you ask.
One Standard, Every Job
The Garrison Code is what ties this crew together with every other location in the Garrison Partners family. It’s a set of operating rules that hasn’t changed since 2002, and it applies in Houston just like it applies everywhere else. A written price before work begins. A written guarantee good for 365 days, with a free return visit if something fails. Uniformed, background-checked technicians who show up inside the scheduled window. Products from Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber, so you can look up exactly what’s going into your attic before you say yes. Bryce Holloway enforces The Garrison Standard here because he’s the owner and because a bad insulation job in Houston doesn’t just waste energy. It costs real money every summer when the AC runs nonstop. This team exists to make sure that doesn’t happen.
